Cultural Studies of Native Americans are presented in November and February. Selected holidays from around the world are celebrated near their actual dates. Appropriate field trips, visiting speakers, Department of Conservation educational materials, and educational trunks from the Kansas City Zoo and Truman Library are used to enhance our curriculum.
